Governor Idris, Emir Of Gwandu, Others Offer Prayers For Former President

Kebbi State governor Nasir Idris Kauran Gwandu, the emir of Gwandu, and chairman of the Council of Chiefs, Alhaji Muhammed Iliyasu Bashar, and other prominent APC supporters have offered special prayers for the late former President Muhammad Buhari, who died on Sunday in London.
Idris prayed for Allah SWT to forgive his shortcomings and grant him Aljannah- Firdausi.

He described his death as a great loss not only to Nigerians but to the entire world.

According to the governor, Buhari was a complete gentleman whose interest was in moving Nigeria forward.

“He will always be remembered for his truthfulness and standing by it and what he believes without shifting ground.” Gov Idris said.

Similarly, Alhaji Iliyasu Bashar, who is also a close friend and colleague of Buhari, said he had lost words to offer as a prayer for the deceased.

He added, “We were at the barracks, worked together, fought together during the civil war for the sake of the unity of this country. ”

“I pray to Almighty Allah to forgive him and grant him Aljannat-Firdausi.”

Other personalities including government officials and APC leaders collectively prayed for his forgiveness from Allah SWT.
