Greenbull RFC delivered a commanding performance to defeat Isukwuato RFC 12–0, securing the title of South East Rugby Tournament champions.
The competition, organised by the Southeast Rugby Football Association in partnership with the Martina Martins Seed Foundation and Msportslink, featured five teams from across the region: Greenbull RFC, Isukwuato RFC, Oteji RFC, AJ-Green RFC, and Coal City RFC.
In the final, Greenbull RFC combined disciplined defence with aggressive line speed and swift ruck play, compelling Isukwuato into wide, low-percentage attacks. Isukwuato RFC finished as runners-up, with Oteji RFC claiming the bronze medal. AJ-Green RFC and Coal City RFC placed fourth and fifth respectively.
Beyond the competitive fixtures, the tournament also incorporated seminars and workshops focused on youth development, safe play, and the fundamentals of rugby, highlighting its grassroots commitment.
