The Garki Hausa Youth Development Association traditionally celebrated Sallah for a second time in a traditional way.
The event was held last Sunday at the Garki football field followed the community’s establishment about 177 years ago.
In his welcoming address, the community youth leader, Honourable Abdulwahab Musa, said the celebration was put together so the Hausa/ Fulani people would not forget their culture.
The Emir of Pai, Alhaji Abubakar Sani, called on parents to enrol their children in school and admonished the Hausa/ Fulani to continue living in peace with one another, as they have been doing for a very long time.
One of the community leaders, Alhaji Sale Adamu Ahmad (Dan Iyan Misau), showed his happiness over the event and advised that the olden day’s celebration and love should be brought back, which, according to him, will help them tackle security.
He urged the community members to respect their leaders, including the ward, village, District, and Emir heads.

Umar Abubakar Abdullahi, who was pleased with the event, called on the people to live in peace with one another.
