National chairman of the Third Phase of the Presidential Amnesty Programme, Elaye Slaboh, has congratulated the newly appointed administrator of the Presidential Amnesty Programme (PAP), Dr Dennis Brutu Otuaro.

President Bola Tinubu approved the appointment of Otuaro as the administrator of PAP last week.

Before his appointment, Otuaro served as a top-level executive of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) with experience drawn from multiple sectors, such as infrastructure development, security, environmental remediation as well as oil and gas.

Slaboh said the leadership of Otuaro would move the PAP further considering the wealth of experience he had garnered over the year.

While wishing the appointee the best in his new assignment, he prayed to God to empower him with the needed wisdom to pilot the affairs of the programme, adding that the leadership is looking forward to a smooth and cordial relationship with his office to maintain the needed peace and stability in the Niger Delta region.
