A group, Catalyst Global Peace and Justice Initiative (CJP), has weighed in on the Muslim-Muslim presidential ticket of the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC) and the inability of the ruling party to tackle the nation’s myriad of problems particularly the insecurity issues in the country.

The group led by Catalyst Abraham Sam Aiyedogbon, added its voice to the condemnation of the presidential candidacy of the APC which according to the group shows a “flagrant display of insensitivity and the direct insult on the collective sensibility of every Nigerian to the level of sacrilege through the desecration of sacredness of divinely ordained priesthood.”

Aiyedogbon urged Nigerians and electorate to vote the next president of tbe country based

on their conviction and what they have to offer, adding that the ‘Obi-dient’ movement is a third force that will challenge the dominance of the ruling party APC and PDP, and also avail the electorate an alternative in the 2023 election.

The cleric who spoke in Lagos on the present challenges of tbe nation under the theme,

‘Unfolding Development Concerning The 2023 Presidency” said, “The Nigerian populace for so long is being subjected and being severely traumatized with all forms of deprivation of basic necessities in life such as food, water, shelter, security, electricity, health care, education, and every form of basic infrastructure which are taken for granted in any modern society.

“We dare not forget but recall with nostalgia the fraudulent package of phantom hope that promised us a glorious change in the year 2014/2015. Almost everybody who is somebody was fooled and completely carried away in that ‘one chance kind of vehicle’ as it is known in our local parlance.

“So the argument that same faith (Muslim-Muslim) ticket will not matter at these perilous times if there is ability and competence to provide basic necessities, is the exclusive luxury of some elites who are either very shallow in faith and in their knowledge of true human psychology.

“The enlightened citizens of some of the most advanced democracy and most developed  countries in the world today, such as ritain and American are still voting and playing their politics either to the left or to the right primarily to secure and also to defend their beliefs”.

Catalyst For Global Peace & Justice Initiative (CPJ) is an organization set up by Commited and Credible Leaders across many nations commited to the Enthronement of Peace, Prosperity and social justice for all nations.

It’s mission is to act as catalyst to empower citizens to work for peace and social justice.
