Group Empowers Journalists In Broadcast Efficiency

Women in Media Development Initiative (WIMDI), a leading force in promoting gender diversity and inclusivity within the media sector has commenced a transformative training initiative aimed to empower media professionals with essential skills in television broadcast efficiency.

The training programme which drawn participants from various media sector in Nigeria focused on television broadcast efficiency, a critical aspect of modern journalism where they learn practical skills related to broadcasting.

With the training, WMDI recognises that women journalists play a crucial role in promoting diversity within the news media as the targeted training seeks to enhance their capabilities and foster gender balance in the industry.

 

According to the co-founder of WIMDI, Rita Eghujovbo the training furthers the organization’s commitment to capacity building for women in the media space.
