The programme is aimed at sensitising Christians to take their destiny in their hands and utilise the power of prayer – joining forces with God to change lives and situations.

According to the convener, Pastor Amavi Ajavon, the bi-monthly edition of Prayer Fire Series holding today at Egbeda in Lagos is tagged ‘PORTALS’.

He said, “A portal is an access route, a gateway or doorway in the spirit realm to spiritual activities.

Life is more spiritual than physical. Spiritual activities control physical happenings. I mean the physical realm is at the mercy of the spiritual realm. At this edition titled ‘PORTALS’, we want to educate people about these doorways or gateways in the spirit in order for them to have an advantage in life’s journey.”

He also noted that at this time in the nation, prayer and being sensitive are of utmost importance as one needs to allow God to direct one’s life and purpose which can be discovered during prayer and fellowship with the Holy Spirit.  Ajavon noted that this edition has special guests like Pastor Sunday Asibor and Pastor John Atomode.

The event will be steamed live from the venue in Lagos to other registered participants online and in diaspora. Ajavon is the president of Christ Combatant Ministry and God Seekers Kindred.
