A pro-President Bola Ahmed Tinubu support group, Relax Tinubu Is Fixing Nigeria (RTIFN), has launched a nationwide membership registration campaign aimed at mobilising 5.25 million supporters ahead of the 2027 presidential election.

The 30-day exercise, which began on June 1 and is expected to end on June 30, targets youths, women, professionals, market associations, transport workers, persons with disabilities (PWDs), community leaders and other eligible Nigerians across the country and in the Diaspora.

Speaking during a media briefing in Abuja on Saturday, the Director-General of RTIFN, Ahmed Bala, said the initiative was intended to expand support for President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda and encourage grassroots participation.

According to Bala, the registration drive is open to members and non-members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and seeks to build a broad support base ahead of the next general election.

He urged Nigerians to remain hopeful despite prevailing economic and social challenges, adding that the group would continue supporting the policies and programmes of the Tinubu administration.

Bala also commended the Founder-in-Chief of the group, Seyi Tinubu, for what he described as efforts toward youth development and inclusion.

He further praised the Minister of Youth Development, Ayodele Olawande, and the Director-General of the Small and Medium Enterprises Development Agency of Nigeria (SMEDAN), Charles Odii, for their contributions to youth empowerment and economic growth.

National Secretary of RTIFN, Felix Arome, said registration would be conducted through both digital and physical platforms.

He explained that the online portal would help maintain a database of members, monitor participation and disseminate information on government policies.

Arome added that Nigerians living abroad would also be able to participate through the platform.

Also speaking, the South-East Zonal Coordinator of the group, Johnbosco Onunkwo, said RTIFN had adopted digital mobilisation strategies to broaden its outreach and engagement.

The National Women Leader of the organisation, Umma Adamu Sani, said women would play a central role in the mobilisation campaign through community-based engagement.

National Director of Contacts and Mobilisation, Lulu Fawehinmi, said registration would be available online and manually through ward centres, local government offices, state chapters, markets and community centres nationwide.

He added that registered members would have access to organisational programmes, volunteer opportunities, policy updates and community initiatives.

The campaign is themed “From Promises to Progress” and carries the slogan “Register. Support. Transform.”
