Southwest youth entrepreneurship summit is set to empower 120 youths of the region on agriculture, fashion and technology.
The summit is designed to engage the youths in leadership training and entrepreneurship development.
It is scheduled to take place On March 9, 2024, at the Oriental Hotels Lagos State with the theme: “Enacting innovation and Technology for National Development.“
In a statement issued by the co-convener, Southwest Youth Entrepreneurship Summit, Ambassador Desmond Femi Agboola, he said the youths in the South West are educated and dedicated, so the summit will help in bringing out the best in them.
“We hereby deem it fit to use this entrepreneurship summit to raise 120 entrepreneurs in different
fields of endeavour to give back to the society as part of our social responsibility.
The participants will be drawn from the six South West states and they will be involved in training on agriculture, fashion designing, event management, beauty and skin care after the summit,“ Agboola said.
The summit will also feature seasoned speakers, entrepreneurs, politicians, captain of industries, top media executives and celebrities.
The keynote address will be delivered by the minister of communications, innovation and digital economy, Dr Bosun Tijani.
