Suspected gunmen on Saturday night shot the chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), in the Ogbaku ward in Umunomo Nsokpo in Ogbaku community, in the Mbaitoli local government area of Imo State, Charles Okeh.

Okeh sustained gunshot wounds in his leg and is receiving treatment at an undisclosed location.

Sources told LEADERSHIP that the gunmen gained entry into the compound and laid wait for Okeh who arrived at about 9pm.
