Gunmen Kill Two Imo Monarchs

There was confusion in  Orsu Obodo community in Oguta local government area of Imo State yesterday as gunmen invaded the area, killing the traditional ruler, Eze Victor Ijioma and the “traditional prime minister” of Mgbele community, Isama of Mgbele.

LEADERSHIP gathered that the two traditional leaders were killed in separate attacks on different locations.

The Orsu Obodo traditional ruler, according to sources, was killed inside his car at Umuamaka Junction in Izombe.

The attackers went ahead to  set his  body ablaze  inside the vehicle.

The Mgbele traditional prime minister was killed  in his hometown.
