In a generous act of philanthropy, the President of MAAUN Group of Universities, Prof. Adamu Abubakar Gwarzo, has donated N5million to support the education of 30 orphans enrolled in the primary section of Intercontinental Schools, Kano.

Prof. Gwarzo announced the donation during the Speech and Prize Giving Day of the school for the 2023/2024 academic session held at the Afficient Event Centre in Kano, on Tuesday.

The significant contribution aimed to enhance the educational opportunities for the children, ensuring they receive the necessary resources and support to succeed in their studies.

Prof. Gwarzo also donated N2.5 million to the best graduating students at both the primary and secondary school sections of the school, including the two overall best graduating SS III students who went home with N500,000 each.

In his short remark, Prof. Gwarzo reminded parents of the need to give secondary school education priority attention in view of its importance.
