Governor Mohammed also charged the pilgrims to avoid any behaviour that could tarnish the image of Bauchi State and Nigeria at large, and to maintain peace and harmony with fellow pilgrims.

Speaking during a farewell at the Sultan Saad Hajj Camp in Bauchi on Friday, the Governor encouraged the pilgrims to dedicate their time in the holy land to prayers for a successful and spiritually fulfilling Hajj.

Mohammed, represented by his deputy, Rt. Hon. Mohammed Auwal Jatau, assured that the Bauchi State Government has made comprehensive arrangements to ensure the welfare of the pilgrims.

He noted that suitable accommodation has been secured for them within close proximity to the Grand Mosque in Haram.

“I congratulate you on this rare privilege of being chosen among millions of faithful to perform the 2025 Hajj. Max Air Limited has been contracted to airlift you from Sir Abubakar Tafawa Balewa International Airport to King Muhammad Bin Abdullah International Airport in Madina,” Governor said.

The Governor also confirmed that all the pilgrims have received full vaccinations against meningitis and yellow fever.

Additionally, he said medical personnel have been sponsored by the government to provide essential healthcare services throughout the pilgrimage.
