HAM23: Gov Bago, Dr Osi, Others Bag Humanitarian Awards 2023

The 2023 Humanitarian Awards and Magazines (HAM) gala, a prestigious event held in Abuja, stood as a testament to the unwavering dedication of 3,023 individuals and organizations committed to uplifting society’s underprivileged through acts of compassion and generosity.

The gala, a convergence of philanthropic luminaries, honoured these remarkable individuals for their outstanding contributions to humanity.

 

They included Governor Mohammed Bago of Niger State (Bago Foundation) – Supportive Humanitarian Governor Of The Year; Dr. Gideon Osi (Gideon and Joy Life Leadership Foundation) – Humanitarian of The Year Award;
Fatima Akilu (Neem Foundation) – Outstanding Humanitarian on Community Support and Empowerment; Alhaji Muhammad Mustapha (Angry Ustaz), Water The Needy Foundation – Outstanding Humanitarian Foundation for Clean Water Provision and Community Health Enhancement; Fatima Mamman Daura (Heal Nourish and Empower) – Outstanding Humanitarian Initiative for IDP Empowerment and Support Award;
Hon. Engr. Sagir Ibrahim Koki, Vice Chairman, House Committee on Petroleum Resources (Midstream) – Outstanding Humanitarian on Community Support Empowerment, and
Chief Jude Chidera Eze (UbiEgo Jude Foundation) – Humanitarian Award For Empowerment and Development Excellence Of the Year.

Others were Engr. Tukur Mohammed Lawal (Dokajin Funtua) – Humaniterian Exceptional Leader in Community Support and Empowerment; Hon. Munira Suleiman Tanimu, Founder/President (Green Heart Impact Foundation) – Outstanding Humanitarian for Community Support and Less Privileged Empowerment Award; Secure the Future International Initiative (Humanitarian NGO for Counselling and Psychotherapy Support); Sparkle Foundation – Best Humanitarian Supportive NGO on Education.

Also honoured were Hon. Peter Akpanke, Deputy Chairman, House Committee on FCT Area Councils and Ancillary Matters (Humanitarian Award on Rural Empowerment and Sustainable Resources); Dr. Benjamin Olowojebutu – Outstanding Humanitarian Foundation for Disease Eradication and Healthcare Transformation Award; Hajia Noyinmot Olasunkanmi Busari, Founder NOBU Foundation – Humanitarian Award for Providing Health and Vision Care; Engr. Umar B. Bindir, Founder Bindir Knowledge Centre (BKC) – Outstanding Humanitarian on Community Support and Empowerment on Education; Dr. Chibuike Echem – Champion of Youth Leadership Impact Award; Jennifer Ephraim Foundation – Education Equality Advocate Award Of the Year; Alkaita Legacy Foundation – Posthumous Humanitarian Lifetime Achievement Award.

 

Also on the list of awardees were Bello Halliru Khalid, Founder BHK Foundation – Best Humanitarian Agency for Education Empowerment and Support; Omekaodinma Emmanuel Ikechukwu, Founder Riseonic Properties – Humanitarian Young Entrepreneur of the Year; Mark Aniogor Ifeakachukwu (Markdajeweller Limited) – Outstanding Humanitarian Volunteer Of the Year, and Abuja Continental Hotel – Corporate Social Responsibility Organization of the Year.

 

The Project Director, Mr. Emmanuel Anabueze, said: “This event is a tribute to the indomitable spirit of compassion and dedication exhibited by these remarkable individuals and organizations. Their tireless efforts illuminate the path toward a brighter, more inclusive future for all.”
