During the visit on Sunday, the emir went round the Wunti Market, Muda Lawal and weekly village markets at Durun where he interacted with some businessmen and traders to identify the prices of some commodities.

Adamu, who is the state chairman of Council of Emirs, familiarised with the people during the visit and urged the businessmen to subsidize the prices of commodities to reduce the difficulties encountered among the people at this period of economic meltdown.

The monarch also visited sellers of rice, maize and corn among others and counselled them on adequate weight measures.

Adamu who bought commodities such as grains, vegetables and beef, among others, further advised the traders to sell at affordable rates.
