Executive Secretary, Abia State Primary Health Care Development Agency (ASPHDA), Kalu Ulu Kalu has charged health workers in the state to serve with empathy to deliver quality service.

Ulu Kalu stated in a speech while addressing the workers in preparation for the forthcoming Maternal and Child Health Week in the state stated for 1st to 5th of next month, in Umuahia, the capital.

He encouraged them to continue to dialogue, sensitize, and mobilize the communities in order to address cultural and religious barriers before, during, and after the campaign

According to the executive secretary, this is very important as the people depend much on them for their needed healthcare services and professional advice.

He warned them against engaging themselves either individually or collectively in any activities that would negate the drive of the government to deliver quality healthcare delivery
