Healthcare: FG, Ogun Pledge More Collaboration

Federal  government  has expressed it’s commitment to support Ogun State Government in the area of the healthcare.

Minister of State for Health & Social Welfare, Dr. Tunji Alausa, made the commitment in Abeokuta, during his working visit to Governor Dapo Abiodun of Ogun State.

He said the federal government’s preparedness to support  Ogun State in the area  of healthcare delivery is one of the fundamental agendas  of the present administration under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

In his remarks, Governor Dapo Abiodun congratulates, Dr. Tunji Alausa for his desires  to be part & serve his fatherland after his meritorious service years in the United States with a good track record  in the  health sector.

The governor pledged  his maximum support  to the minister by giving adequate attention  to both federal and and state health  facilities  within the state to achieve optimal primary mandate.

He, however. appealed  to the federal government to establish  more  health  facilities  and equip the existing ones with capable health and social workers. 

He reiterated his administration’s commitment  to health & social welfare  of his people  as the state is looking forward  to getting more fund through the federal government  monthly  allocation in other to do more for  the people to enjoy the dividends of democracy through health Social  Insurance Program.
