Heirs Insurance Group (HIG), has posted Gross Written Premium (GWP) of N115 billion in its audited results for the year ended December 31, 2025

The Company results showed growth across premiums, assets, and claims payout. The Group reported a combined Gross Written Premium (GWP) growth of 88.5 per cent from N61 billion in 2024 to N115 billion in 2025.

Combined insurance revenue also rose by 70 per cent to N53.4 billion from N29.43 billion in 2024, while total assets grew by 83 per cent to N169.7 billion from N89 billion.

Profit before tax dipped slightly to N9.53 billion from N11.2 billion in 2024, which the Group attributed to macroeconomic headwinds, particularly foreign exchange volatility.

Demonstrating its commitment to customers, Heirs Insurance Group paid N19.4 billion in claims during the year, an 87 per cent increase from N10.4 billion paid in 2024. The Group said seven out of every ten claims were settled within 24 hours.

Heirs Life Assurance led the growth, with GWP doubling to N88.59 billion from N44.22 billion in 2024. Insurance Revenue rose 80 per cent to N27.2 billion, while Profit Before Tax grew 38 per cent to N7.6 billion. Investment income surged by 430 per cent to N24.8 billion, and claims paid jumped 121 per cent to N14.4 billion. Total assets more than doubled to N1,36.2 billion.

Heirs general insurance recorded a 57 per cent rise in GWP to N26.6 billion, with insurance revenue up 67 per cent to N23.9 billion. Claims paid increased 22 per cent to N5 billion, and total assets grew 25 per cent to N33.5 billion. Profit before tax declined to N1.07 billion from N4.9 billion, also reflecting FX volatility.

Heirs insurance brokers saw revenue grow 19 per cent to N2.34 billion, while profit before tax rose to N1.35 billion on the back of improved client acquisition and cost discipline.
