The General Overseer of Salvation Ministries, Pastor David Ibiyeomie, has shared an account of how a divine decree purportedly stopped American rapper, 50 Cent, from performing in Port Harcourt years ago.

Speaking during a recent service, the cleric recalled that the rapper’s planned visit coincided with a major crusade organized by his church at the Civic Centre in the Rivers State capital.

Ibiyeomie noted that the city was “at a standstill” due to the heavy publicity surrounding the concert, which was sponsored by a major brewery. He admitted feeling concerned as many of his church members had already purchased tickets for the rapper’s show.

“I said if 50 Cent comes tomorrow, I am not called by God. Two kings cannot reign; Jesus cannot be reigning and 50 Cent is also reigning. I decreed that he would not perform in this town,” the cleric said.

According to the pastor, the rapper was already in Nigeria and had performed in Lagos and Abuja when an unexpected argument broke out among his team at the airport. The disagreement reportedly led the American star to cancel the rest of his Nigerian tour and return to the United States.
