The Nigerian Army (NA) has offered opportunities to new recruits, launching the application process for non-tradesmen and women for the 87th Regular Recruits Intake.

– Recruitment Type: Non-tradesmen and women.

Hereunder are the Steps to follow to apply:

1. Visit the Application Website

Long on to the official Nigerian Army’s recruitment portal: [recruitment.army.mil.ng] (https://recruitment.army.mil.ng).

2. Complete the Online Application Form:

Once on the website, locate the application form and fill in all the required details. Double-check the information to ensure accuracy.

 

3. Submit the Application:

After completing the form, submit it online. Once submitted, print a copy for your records.

4. Fill out the Guarantor Form:

Next, you need to fill out a guarantor form. This form typically requires the endorsement of someone who can vouch for your character and identity.

 

 

Basic Requirements:

 

To qualify for this recruitment, you must meet the following criteria:

– Nigerian Citizenship by Birth: Applicant must be a Nigerian citizen by birth.

– National Identity Card/NIN Slip: You should have a valid National Identity Number (NIN).

– Medical, Physical, and Psychological Fitness: Applicants should be fit in all these aspects.

– No Criminal Convictions: A clean criminal record is required.

– Valid Birth Certificate or Age Declaration: You need to present an official document to verify your age.

– Certificate of State of Origin: This certificate is necessary for establishing your state of origin.

– Height Requirement: The minimum height is 1.68 meters for males and 1.65 meters for females.

 

– Age Requirements:

For non-trades, applicants should be between ages 18 and 22.

– For tradesmen/women, the age limit is 26 years by June 30, 2024.

 

Educational Qualifications:

– Non-Trades: A minimum of four passes in WASSCE, GCE, NECO, or NABTEB.

– Tradesmen/Women: In addition to the above qualifications, applicants must also possess a Trade Test or City Guild Certificate.

The deadline for the submission of application is June 7, 2024.
