Yelwa explained that partnering with the National Directoriate of Employment, NDE and Minna Institute of Technology and Innovation, MITI, is in line with the federal government’s policy to take off the street through skills acquisition.

He maintained that the beneficiaries cut across the six states with Niger State having about 1,400 participants and will be entitled to some stipends and starter packs  for both graduates and  non graduates.

Earlier, the rector of MITI, Dr Nana Ibrahim applauded the commission for the foresight, and assured to live to the expectations and will certify only those who performed creditably with good character .
