‘I Am Alive’ — Actor Don Richard Dismisses Death Rumours

Veteran Nigerian actor Don Richard has debunked viral reports claiming he has passed away.

The rumours, which began spreading on Thursday, April 23, 2026, suggested the actor had lost his battle with kidney failure. However, on Friday, the movie star reacted on his Instagram page, telling his fans to ignore the fake news and stating that he is “hale and hearty.”

“There’s nothing wrong with me. I appreciate my fans for the love and concern. I’m alive, hale and hearty. I dey alive ooo,” he said. He also called out bloggers for spreading misinformation, adding that “God will judge them.”

While the actor is currently fine, he has faced health challenges in the past. In July 2025, he reportedly reached out to the public for financial help after selling his house and cars to pay for medical treatments related to kidney disease.
