I Am Mentally Stressed – Kunle Remi

Nollywood actor Kunle Remi has cried out over the hard economic conditions in Nigeria, describing the situation as unbearable for many citizens.

In a video shared on his Instagram page, the actor lamented the high cost of petrol, revealing that he recently bought fuel at over N1,300 per litre.

He noted that the combination of high fuel prices and frequent power outages has made it very difficult to run a home or sustain a business.

The actor also challenged Nigerians who claim they do not like to discuss politics. He argued that, given the current crisis, staying silent or “sitting on the fence” is no longer a smart move.

Remi confessed that the situation is taking a toll on his mental health. He also expressed concern for his workers, noting that high transport fares are making it hard for them to even show up for work.

“I am mentally stressed, and I can’t lie. No light, diesel is expensive, and fuel is expensive. Even for my staff to come to work is now a problem because transport fares have gone up,” he said.

He questioned why Nigeria, as an oil producing nation, still struggles with fuel prices and lacks working refineries.
