Nollywood actress Dakore Egbuson-Akande has issued a stern warning and threatened legal action over allegations linking her romantically to Senate President Godswill Akpabio.

The claim, made by controversial blogger Gistlover, included Dakore among a list of alleged mistresses or sidechicks of the Senate President, alongside names such as Nancy Isime, Hilda Baci, and Ini Edo.

Reacting to the claim, Dakore took to her Instagram page with a vehement denial, asserting that she had never met Akpabio in her person. She emphasised her happy marriage and family life, declaring the allegation as baseless and malicious.

“I started getting calls and text messages this morning alerting me to a very wicked lie from the pit of hell. I must say I am very disappointed, shocked, and appalled. I want to categorically state that I’ve never ever in my life met the Senate President,” Dakore stated in her video.

“I have not had any cause to see him or to be in the same room with him, not to talk of being one of his side chicks. I’m married, happily married, and I have two beautiful children,” she said.

Dakore further expressed her outrage at the attempt to tarnish her reputation and promised to take decisive action. “For a jobless wicked blogger to put my name amongst women who have been with this man is totally wicked and totally unfounded! It is a lie from the pit of hell and I am ready for any legal action because this time you have messed with the wrong person!”

The actress also announced a reward for anyone with concrete evidence of her alleged involvement with the Senate President. “Anybody who can say I have been with this man, that you have video or audio evidence, I will give you N5 million right now! I am not joking! I am very serious because I have worked too hard for my name and my reputation.”
