‘I Feel Like The Luckiest Man In The Universe’, Eedris Praises Wife On 21st Wedding Anniversary

Ace rapper Eedris Abdulkareem has paid glowing tribute to his wife, Yetunde, as the couple marked their 21st wedding anniversary.

In a heartfelt Instagram post on Thursday, the ‘Jaga Jaga’ crooner shared a romantic photo of them together, accompanied by an emotional message celebrating her virtues.

“With each passing day, I cherish you more and more. I feel like the luckiest man in the universe to find such a kind, considerate, and understanding wife,” he wrote.

Reflecting on their journey, Eedris praised the strength and resilience of their union.
“We have grown up together, leaning on each other and learning from our mistakes. My friend, my confidant, and my wife – I am glad we never gave up on each other. Here’s wishing you a fabulous 21st anniversary,” he added.

In another post, the veteran rapper continued his tribute: “The journey so far has been splendid. I found my soulmate the day I married you, dear wifey. These 21 years have been the best years of my life. Wishing you a happy 21st anniversary.”

Sharing a deeper reflection on their marriage, he wrote: “This anniversary is not a symbol of colorfulness, loud music, fireworks, or a party. But it shows the time, love, struggle, hardships, and success we face together. Here’s to the love of my life. I am very grateful to be a lucky champ to such a beautiful soul like you. Eedris and Yetunde married in 2004, and their union is blessed with three children.

In July 2022, the rapper was diagnosed with kidney failure, a health challenge that pushed him to publicly seek financial assistance. His wife volunteered to donate a kidney for his transplant.

Following the successful surgery, Eedris released a song dedicated to Yetunde, thanking her for her unwavering “support and compassion.”
