Nigerian comedian, Otaghware Otas Onodjayeke, known by his stage name as ‘I Go Save’, has questioned the silence of first ladies across the country following the recent abduction of pupils and teachers in Oyo State.

In a series of Instagram posts, the entertainer called out these women, questioning why they had remained silent on the tragic incident. He also challenged them to speak publicly about the matter.

I go save wrote:

“Where are all the First Ladies in this country? Are you people true mothers? How do you all sleep at night knowing these innocent kids are still in captivity and being dehumanised? Your behaviours are making the Devi look like a good man. Speak up, act and get those Kids out now.”

“Nigeria Toothless Lionesses, why are y’all silent? Speak up for these innocent kids.”

Since making the comments, I Save has stirred up mixed reactions online. While some can understand his frustration, others still argue that government officials do not always make their responses public.
