Presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu, has said he has nothing against one of his former political allies, Vice President Yemi Osinbajo.

Tinubu spoke in Kano during a meeting with a group that worked for Osinbajo during the presidential primaries was expressing his views about the vice president for the first time after the APC presidential primary in which Osinbajo contested against him for the party’s presidential ticket.

He noted that as a man who seeks forgiveness from God, he must be willing to forgive others.

The former Lagos State governor was responding to to the demand by the coordinator of the Drone Marshall Support Group, Alwan Hassan, that Tinubu should work with the vice president and other presidential aspirants who ran against him at the primary election on 8 June, 2022.

“We made consultations with your friends and even your enemies. Sometimes, all of them speak of one good quality about you. Most of them have agreed that you stood out as being patient and forgiving whosoever offends you in politics.

“We want to see more of public participation between you and the vice president, Professor Yemi Osinbajo and all other aspirants that contested against you. You are the candidate, you have won,” he said.
