Luis Díaz has expressed satisfaction with his decision to leave Liverpool for Bayern Munich last summer.
The Colombian winger joined the Bundesliga giants in a deal reportedly worth £65 million and has quickly established himself as a key figure in their attacking line.
Díaz was on target in Bayern’s 2-1 victory over Real Madrid in the first leg of their Champions League quarter-final on Tuesday, further underlining his importance to the team.
Reflecting on his move, the 29-year-old said he has settled seamlessly into life in Germany.
“Joining Bayern was the right decision. I’m really happy and enjoying every match,” Díaz said.
“I feel great, I’m in good shape, and ready to help the team. We have a clear plan and a strong unity, and that is evident on the pitch.”
With Bayern competing strongly on both domestic and European fronts, Díaz’s form could prove pivotal as they chase silverware this season.
