Simi narrated how she met her husband, Adekunle Gold, on Facebook but she never knew he was a singer as well. According to the singer, when her husband reached out to her on Facebook, she thought he was a fan as she didn’t reply to his message.

Simi made these revelations while speaking on the latest episode of ‘Tea With Tay’ podcast, hosted by Taymesan.

“I didn’t know my husband was singing when I met him because I already said I cannot marry a singer. I thought he was even a fan.

“He used to do this ‘King of Photoshop’ that time’. He sent me a message on Facebook but I never saw it nor did I reply”, she said.
