The International Spokesman of International Association of World Peace Advocates (IAWPA), Amb. Emmanuel NkwChamp has bèn honoured as a ‘Champion of Peace’ at an international event held in Liberia.
The honour, according to a statement which was made available by group’s Director of Media and Publicity, Amb. Nwokoma Messiah, was presented by Queen Mother Juli Eende Guest Speaker at the event, in recognition of Amb. Nkweke’s contributions to peace and sustainable development goals in Nigeria, Africa, and globally.
Dignitaries present included Amb. Lahoucine Rahmouni, Moroccan Ambassador to Liberia, and Rev. Dr. Kamah Guehi Thoronka, Immigration Lawyer from the United States of America.
IAWPA and Amb. Nkweke, according to the statement, have been instrumental in promoting peace initiatives and advancing UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in Nigeria and across the globe.
This international recognition underscored IAWPA’s commitment to fostering global peace, justice, and sustainable development.
This honour has further strengthened ties with the Moroccan Embassy, with an invitation extended to IAWPA and its Spokesman to attend an event in Morocco later this year.
According to Amb. Nkweke, “this recognition will spur me and IAWPA to contribute more to the growth and sustainability of global peace in a world that is currently embroiled in global conflicts.”
IAWPA reaffirmed its commitment to promoting peace, justice, and sustainable development worldwide.
