Attorney-general of Ondo State and commissioner for Justice, Dr Kayode Ajulo (SAN) says he is committed to developing young lawyers into leaders.
At a seminar for young lawyers in Abuja recently, Ajulo, who is also the chairman of the Nigerian Bar Association Mentorship Committee, said his mission transcends legal brilliance but focuses on making young lawyers successful in the profession.
He called on young lawyers to be diligent, truthful and embrace hard work in their legal practice. He said, “Law school has made them lawyers; our extant commission is to make them leaders and successful in the noble profession. Mentorship is the bridge between knowledge and wisdom, between ambition and actualisation. In the legal profession, where tradition and ethics shape our identity, mentorship is not a luxury; it is a necessity. If you faithfully and sincerely follow seven successful lawyers, you will become the eighth.”
