DJ Switch said she was worried about the behaviour of the new generation children, saying bad examples from parents and the elderly on the social media informed some of the unpleasant actions of the kiddies.

The girl, who requested the smartphone as a birthday present, was, however, lambasted by her parents, who happened to be Pastors.

Her father, in particular, fumed endlessly while condemning her for making an iPhone her priority despite the fact that she failed to secure admission to study Medicine in the university.

Commenting on the viral video, DJ Switch wrote: “Just watched a video of a girl that asked for iPhone and proceeded to record her parents response… hmm. I can hear concern and pain from her parents but her countenance and action says it all. Hearing that she’s yet to gain admission but is more interested in iPhone… iPhone 8 for that matter. I think she should have gone ahead to hold her parents at gunpoint and ask for iPhone 15 PRO MAXIMUM!!! Then I will know she’s serious.

“I’ve been saying this for a while now, I’m truly worried about our new gen of kids with all that we do online… all the crap we praise and all the attention we give to BBL and the other set of “fakeness” that has set the stage for this type of crap we see from our younger ones. A word was enough for the wise but the wise done scarce.”

LEADERSHIP reports that the current market price of iPhone 8 stands at N120,000.
