The PCRC in the state has engaged in a campaign against crime, criminality,a nd cultism in schools since October, 2016, and has visited 88 schools.

Chukwunyere who doubles as the national consultant on community policing to PCRC’s national leadership, urged traditional rulers, community and religious leaders to feel free to contact the PCRC to educate their children and youths about the ills associated with vices.

He said that the PCRC is collaborating with Scripture Union members in the schools and relevant civil society organisations to sensitise students.

He commended his wife, Mrs Chukwunyere, and his daughter, Miss Chukwunyere, as well as the state, PCRC Chairman, Dr Bertram Uzodinma, for their physical and moral support.

“We collaborate with SU members to reach the hearts of students, have been on the radio for over 14 years, and, as a result, many students have renounced cultism and other vices.

“Between August 2008 and November 2025, I gave the Police complementary hotel accommodation for Police on transfer and special duties to the tune of N8,950,000, in addition to their unpaid house rent of N1,300,000”, he said.
