inDrive has provided relief materials valued at over N75 million to residents displaced by recent demolitions in parts of Lagos.
The intervention was carried out in partnership with the Tolu Aniwura Welfare Foundation, also known as GenerousMe, and took place at St. Paul Catholic Church, Ebute-Metta.
The initiative supported more than 2,000 beneficiaries, including families and individuals affected by the demolitions. Items distributed included food supplies, clothing, bedding, baby care products and educational materials. Some beneficiaries were also individuals who had previously participated in inDrive-supported social impact programmes.
According to inDrive Nigeria’s Country Representative, Timothy Oladimeji, the intervention reflects the company’s people-focused approach and commitment to supporting communities in times of need.
He said the partnership with GenerousMe enabled a swift response to the humanitarian situation. Also speaking, GenerousMe’s Partnerships Lead, Adetola Alade, said the collaboration ensured the timely and coordinated delivery of aid to affected residents.
