Popular influencer, Akinwande Waris Olayinka, popularly known as Ola of Lagos has narrated that his unique style of influencing luxury items boosted his fame among other influencers in Nigeria.

Ola of Lagos, better known as ‘luxury guy’, stated this while speaking with Leadership Newspaper in an exclusive interview on Monday.

He stated that he added the review of other luxury items upon the positive feedback he got from his fans and well-wishers from analysing stunning cars.

“I said I shouldn’t just base on cars so that I won’t get tired. I started dealing with real estate too, among other luxury things.”

I want to be known as the luxury guy not just in Nigeria, but Africa at large.

Speaking on the kind of advertorial deals he signs, Ola of Lagos said that he doesn’t accept all adverts although they keep coming. But he decides on which to bring to his page to ensure it does not ruin his business.

“People always bring adverts, but we don’t welcome everything. I only take some adverts. I’m the luxury guy, not just in Nigeria, but Africa, I’m taking over everywhere, Allah!

He maintained that he works based on the wish of his clients and fans. He ensures he satisfies what his customers want and not what he feel like doing.

“I am willing to give my fans more. I wish I can ask everyone what they want or what they expect and I work towards it. The deal is not really my thing, it is what they want. If they say not just do car exporting, give us some details about cars,” the car guru maintained.
