Scholars at the launch of the book ‘The Face of Poverty in Nigeria’ published by the Rosa Luxemburg Foundation and the Yusufu Bala Usman Institute, Zaria have advocated for more resources to boost education in Nigeria. They said making the youths to be gainfully employed would help to reduce poverty in the country.

The book reviewer, Dr. Hauwa Madhi, a senior lecturer, School of Global Studies, University of Gothenburg, Sweden, said some aspects of Nigerian life have deteriorated because of the pervasive poverty in Nigeria.

He said the book which was put together by nearly 20 active workers, the RosaLuxemburg Stiftung and an enormous number of hours crafted into over 180 pages of data/information and analysis is a lens for exploring the challenges facing Nigerians.
