The Irepodun Unity Caucus in Kwara South has expressed delight over the rehabilitation of four major roads in Irepodun local government area by the state government.
The caucus also applauded the upgrade of the General Hospital in Omu-Aran to a teaching hospital.
Members of the association pledged support and loyalty to Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq.
The group stated this in a communique issued at the end of a meeting held in Omu- Aran.
The communique was signed by the chairman of the communique committee, Mrs Bola Olukoju and secretary, Mr Tayo Awodiji.
Members commended and deeply appreciated the numerous developmental projects carried out in Irepodun local government and acknowledged the governor’s unwavering fight against insecurity across the state.
It called on National Assembly members representing Kwara South to support the fight against insecurity.
It hailed the contributions of
the chairman of Irepodun local government, Hon. Azeez Yakubu, Dr. Johnson Adewumi, Gen.
Abidoye (rtd), traditional rulers led by the Olupo of Ajase-Ipo, and other stakeholders in ensuring the safety and stability of Kwara South and
Irepodun.
