The chief missioner of Nasrul-Lahi-l-Fatih Society (NASFAT), Sheikh Abdul-Azeez Onike, has been honoured by the Centre for Values in Leadership (CVL), a remarkable moment, as the organisation recognised religious leaders from both Islamic and Christian faiths.
The event, held in Victoria Island, Lagos, on December 9, 2025, had in attendance leaders of thought, members of the academic community, business leaders, religious leaders and media personnel.
Past recipients of the award include the late Dr Christopher Kolade, Chief Emeka Anyaoku, and Chief Wale Olanipekun, who have been celebrated for their profound contributions to humanity.
NASFAT rejoices with its chief missioner on this well-deserved recognition, and we pray that Allah preserve him and grant him greater strength to continue serving Islam and humanity.
The chief missioner was considered for the recognition for his leadership and contributions to Islam, peaceful co-existence and nation-building.
The Centre for Values in Leadership (CVL) is the brainchild of Prof. Pat Utomi, a professor of political economics.
