The Islamic State of the West African Province (ISWAP) terrorist group has abducted three humanitarian workers working with the Family Health International (FHI 360), and two of its security guards in the North-East of Ngala, Borno State.

FHI 360 is a non-profit human development organisation dedicated to improving the health and well-being of people of the North-East.

It was gathered that unconfirmed number of terrorists stormed into the Guest House of the non-governmental organisation in a silent operation at about 4am on Wednesday, April 26, 2023 and whisked the workers away to an unknown destination.

Zagazola Makama, a Counter-insurgency Expert and Security Analyst in the Lake Chad region gathered that the victims included three staff and two security guards of the organisation.
