Popular Nigerian media personality, Roby Ekpo, has expressed great surprise following reports that his estranged wife, Mayowa Lambe, has tied the knot with another man in Texas, United States.
The news, which surfaced on Tuesday, April 14, 2026, stunned many fans who believed the couple was still together. The confusion grew because Roby is reportedly still wearing his wedding ring and has never publicly announced a formal divorce.
Reacting to the viral wedding photos on his Instagram page, the comedian and radio presenter admitted he was just as caught off guard as the public. “As it shocked you all, that is how it shocked me too,” he wrote.
Despite the sudden news, Roby stated that he had already moved past the most difficult part of their separation. While he did not share specific details about why they split, he chose to send a message to his estranged wife, though it contained a surprising claim.
“Happy married life, Mayowa, may this third marriage be beautiful and may it last,” he posted, claiming that this union marks her third marriage.
