Nigerian socialite and businessman, Pascal Okechukwu, popularly known as Cubana Chief Priest, has denied allegations by a Kenyan woman, Helen, who claimed he fathered her child.

Speaking on Channels Television’s ‘Rubbin’ Minds’ hosted by reality TV anchor, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, which was monitored by our correspondent on Saturday, he dismissed the accusations as a calculated attempt to destroy his marriage.

The celebrity barman, who has repeatedly refuted the claims, stated emphatically that he did not know the woman in question and insisted that the child was not his.

“Children are a gift from God regardless of how they come, and I have more than enough to take care of my children, as many as possible that will come my way,” he said.

According to Chief Priest, the controversy was a direct attack on his marriage, an institution he described as “the best thing that has ever happened to me.”

“If you watch the whole attack, it is on the marriage,” he added.

When asked if he would have accepted the child if he was proven to be the father, Chief Priest responded affirmatively.

“Of course,” he said, adding that he would be open to taking a paternity test to clear his name. However, he maintained that he would not be pressured into compliance given the nature of the allegations.

“But you cannot bash me this hard and expect my loyalty,” he asserted.

Despite the ongoing controversy, the socialite emphasised that his marriage remained intact, stating that his relationship with his wife extended beyond companionship to a strong business partnership.

“My wife and I are beyond husband and wife; we are business partners and associates that are inseparable,” he stated.

The Imo State-born businessman further hinted at a possible orchestrated agenda behind the allegations, claiming that the woman resurfaces whenever he was embroiled in any controversy in Nigeria.

“The saga has been on for a while, but I don’t know the people behind it. She always pops up every time I have an issue that goes viral, which shows she has an ulterior motive rather than genuinely looking for the father of her child,” Cubana Chief Prient concluded.
