Jabi Lake Mall, in partnership with Que Concepts, will host the 3rd edition of Men’s Fashion Week Nigeria (MFWN) between August 9 and 11, 2024.

Abiola Oparinde, the Marketing Manager of the Que Concepts, said the spectacular event will showcase over 35 talented designers from Nigeria, Africa, and Europe.

As the organisers of MFWN, Oparinde said Que Concepts aims to promote Africa’s emerging and elite fashion designers, menswear dealers, manufacturers, and retailers.

The festival, he said, was designed to redefine the future of fashion by integrating African menswear into the global fashion scene.

He said, “This year, the Jabi Lake Mall MFWN Fashion Festival will serve as a premier platform for designers and manufacturers to gain international exposure.

“The festival will assemble the best trendsetters from Africa, showcasing high-end ready-to-wear and exclusive pieces that seek to cater to the local luxury market.”

He said it promises to be a melting pot of rich heritage and culture geared towards the decadent showcase of all things beauty, fashion, cosmetics, technology, sports, lifestyle as well as entertainment; tailored for men by attracting a vibrant audience of fashion and industry followers.

Nestled by the beautiful Jabi Lake in Abuja, the mall provides an inviting atmosphere for visitors to enjoy shopping, dining, and entertainment. This year’s fashion week will highlight African heritage, with a special focus on Northern Nigeria, reflected in our daily themes: Friday – Shagali, Saturday – Dangata, and a Sunday Private Viewing at Vento Furniture Showroom, featuring refreshments courtesy of Istanbul Restaurant & Cafe.

According to Oparinde, the vision behind the partnership was to celebrate and elevate African fashion while simultaneously building capacity for the future through innovative Masterclasses and Mentorship platforms. A prime example, he said, is the maiden Design Man Competition, designed to ignite the entrepreneurial spirit among Nigerian youth.

Jabi Lake Mall’s collaboration with Que Concepts, he said, will prove to be immensely impactful, by helping young models to grow and excel within the fashion industry.

“All involved parties are proud to witness this remarkable journey and accomplishments, supported by the vibrant and dynamic atmosphere of Jabi Lake Mall.

“We would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to our sponsors: Vento Furniture, Istanbul Restaurant & Cafe, Infinix Mobile, and all our media partners for their invaluable support.”

He said, “The Future of Fashion is Nigeria, Africa, and You. Join us at Jabi Lake Mall for what promises to be the best fashion show on the continent, set against the breathtaking backdrop of the lake!”
