The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has commenced the process for candidates seeking to change their institutions or courses after the release of the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) results.
The examination body disclosed this in a statement posted on its official X (formerly Twitter) handle signed by its public communications adviser, Dr Fabian Benjamin yesterday.
According to the board, candidates wishing to effect changes in their institution or programme of choice are expected to visit any of its approved computer-based test centres across the country.
JAMB advised applicants to ensure they carry out the process only at accredited CBT centres to avoid errors and possible fraud.
The board stated that the exercise is now fully active and accessible to candidates who may wish to reconsider their initial choices based on their UTME scores or admission preferences.
It further announced that the printing of the original 2026 UTME result slips would commence on Monday, May 18, 2026.
The original result slip, which carries candidates’ passport photographs and other security features, is one of the key documents required during admission screening and clearance exercises in tertiary institutions.
