Governor Namadi also unveiled plans to create a dedicated budget line for Qur’anic education to reform the traditional Almajiri system, enhance spiritual knowledge, and promote the correct teachings of the Qur’an.

He stressed that individuals with sound spiritual education often demonstrate integrity and good character in society.

According to him, the recently established Tsangaya Board is central to implementing the new policy, which seeks to integrate Qur’anic education into the state’s broader education system, with a defined curriculum and effective learning mechanisms.
