According to him, the activities of the alumni association will add value to the university in terms of growth and development which is the heart beat of the current administration of the university.

He commended UJAA members who came all the way from different parts of the country to witness the event adding that it will add value to the institution

Meanwhile, UJAA global president Dr. Gad Shamaki in his remarks said when the present EXCO took over the mantle of leadership four months ago, they decided that they are going to change the narrative to leave the alumni association better than they met it.

Gad further maintained that what they met on ground was not good for the office of UJAA global president adding that they also discovered that they have no logo.

“We met ground zero. As a critic of bad governance, I told my self that I should not be found wanting . So we hit the ground running from day one and in the last few months we were very deliberate in changing the narrative.”

He further stressed, “In the last couple of months we have been able to increase our visibility and strengthened our local chapters to get more Josites to come and support their alma- mata.”
