Members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Enugu State are now swimming in the ocean of jubilation following the confirmation that the governor of the state, Peter Mbah, will join their party.

The governor will officially join the ruling party with his aides and followers on Tuesday next week, according to the APC National Chairman, Prof. Nentawe Goshwe Yilwatda.

The event will be held in Enugu, the Coal City State.

Reacting to the development, a chieftain of the APC in the State, Barrister John Diara, described Mbah’s entrance as a welcome development.

He stressed that the entrance of the governor into APC would be the best thing that would happen to the state.

The APC chieftain emphasiSed that with the development, the party has been repositioned to will elections in the future.

Diara said the abysmal performances of the party in the past made them to be ashamed of the party, saying that with the development, they are now proud of the APC.

He noted that the inability of the APC to perform well in past elections was primarily because of the way the self-acclaimed leaders of the party were handling the affairs of the party.
