The Kwara State House of Assembly yesterday said it will  continue to work with the executive arm of government  to strengthen the democratic institutions of the state.

The speaker of the House, Engr. Yakubu Danladi-Salihu made the pledge in a statement to commemorate this year’s Democracy Day.

Danladi-Salihu, who is also the chairman, All Progressives Congress (APC) Conference of Speakers in Nigeria, said the development would also promote inclusivity, unity, equality and work towards a brighter and better Nigeria for all.

He appreciated the memories of the past heroes whose sacrifices, resilience and determination entrenched democratic governance in the land.
