Less than 24 hours to the Thursday’s Supreme Court verdict on the leadership crisis rocking the Opposition Coalition’s party, African Democratic Congress (ADC), the leadership and stakeholders of the David Mark-led faction of the party has held a crucial meeting on Wednesday night.
This was disclosed by former Vice President Atiku Abubakar shortly after the end of the meeting via his verified social media handles on Wednesday night, describing the meeting as “productive”.
“We have just concluded a meeting with the leadership and stakeholders of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) at the Abuja residence of the party’s National Chairman, David Mark. It was a productive meeting,” Atiku wrote.
The meeting, LEADERSHIP gathered from impeccable sources privy to the gathering, was convened to discuss the next course of action over possible unfavourable outcome of the apex court judgement slated for Thursday, April 30.
The Supreme Court is expected to deliver judgement on which faction between David Mark-led bloc and Nafiu Bla Gombe group is the authentic leadership of the ADC.
