JUST-IN: AIG Wounded, Orderly Dies As Gunmen Attack Convoy In Kaduna

The Assistant Inspector General of Police (AIG) in charge of Zone 12 with headquarters in Bauchi, Audu Adamu Madaki, has lost his orderly during an attack on his convoy by unknown gunmen in Bauchi State.

The attack occurred on Tuesday, August 2, 2022 at about 2.30pm at Barde Zangidi area of Kaduna State.

According to an intelligence organisation, Eons Intelligence, via its verified Twitter handle on Wednesday morning, AIG Madaki sustained bullet injury while his orderly was shot dead by the attackers.

The organisation wrote: “The Assistant Inspector General of Police (AIG) in charge of Zone 12 and his convoy were attacked yesterday 2 August 2022 at about 1430hrs at Barde Zangidi area of Bauchi State. The AIG sustained bullet injury while the orderly was shot dead.”

Meanwhile, neither the zonal headquarters of the Nigeria Police Force (NPF) in Bauchi nor the Bauchi State Police Command has issue any statement on the attack as at the time of this report.
