The ABSIEC Chairman was reportedly hosting some lecturers from the Abia State University, Uturu in his Okigwe residence when four gunmen suspected to be kidnappers stormed his house and harassed his visitors before whisking him away to unknown destination.

The gunmen were said to have snatched a passing vehicle carrying wood after the failure to use Prof. Chima’s car which was being washed by his driver.

Already, Police spokesperson for Imo State Command, DSP Henry Okoye confirmed that the incident occurred on Friday.

Okoye said the police was already investigating the development.
